Is Clever a free platform for schools?

Clever's core login and app connection service is provided to schools through their district's subscription, so students, teachers, and families do not pay anything directly to use the Clever Com portal. Districts typically license Clever as part of their broader technology budget.

Is Clever safe for students?

Clever Com is built specifically for K-12 use and handles student rostering data under federal education privacy rules. As with any education platform, actual safety also depends on how a district configures accounts, which apps it connects, and whether students are taught basic account hygiene, such as not sharing passwords.

Can students use Clever at home?

Yes. Clever Com works on any internet connected device with a browser, so students can log in from home the same way they do at school, as long as they have their login credentials or remember their school's portal link.

Can parents access the Clever Portal?

Parents can access Clever Com through the Family Portal when their school or district has enabled this feature and linked a parent account to their child's student record. Not every school turns this feature on, so availability depends on local district settings.

Why is my Clever login not working?

Most login failures trace back to a typo, an expired or incorrect password, or trying to sign in with a personal account instead of a school issued one. The troubleshooting section above walks through the most common fixes in order.

Why can't I find my school on Clever?

If a district search does not return your school, it may be listed under its full official name rather than a nickname, or the school may use a direct portal link instead of appearing in the general search. Checking with the school office for the exact link usually resolves this quickly.
